For In-Between at the Invisible Dog Center’s Glass House, Caroline Cloutier uses the mirror as an extension of the photographic device to produce images. She thus brings the out-of-field space inside the Glass House and exploits the visual qualities of its surroundings. The effect is a complex spatial composition that leads the viewer in a contemplative experience about the in-between.

Sous l’initiative de la commissaire Francine Paul, l’exposition à Plein sud regroupe plusieurs œuvres photographiques inédites, qui témoignent de la recherche récente des deux artistes, effectuée notamment lors de résidences à Linz, Rome (Caroline Cloutier), Berlin, Québec (Martin Désilets), dans le Parc national du Gros-Morne à Terre-Neuve et au centre Sagamie à Alma (résidences conjointes des deux artistes). Une publication regroupant le travail récent des deux artistes et un essai de la commissaire sera lancée lors du vernissage.
